Green Material, Green Application was the theme of a seminar at the German-China House to which Oldenburger was invited to present their contribution to the success story of this remarkable building – the only building completely built out of bamboo at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.

Being together in the group of speakers with Prof. Zhang Qisheng (academician and director of Bamboo committee of China National Forest Product Industry Association CNFPIA), Mr. Markus Heinsdorff (designer of German-Chinese House), Prof.  Jiang Shenxue (Tongji University, bamboo research) and other CEOs of Chinese bamboo furniture manufacturing enterprises Oldenburger was honored to present the project to international and Chinese journalists agents as well as guests from different industry sectors.
