One of the most exiting EXPO buildings, and the only one that is hosted by two nations is the China-German Pavilion. Constructed out of huge bamboo beams, and outfitted with bamboo design furniture by German artist Markus Heinsdorff, the building is under the patronage of the Chinese President Hu Tsing Tao and the German President  Christian Wulff. Oldenburger provided the final touch for the structure, constructed egg shaped interior rooms and all of the unique bamboo furniture.
